Sudan to Host Arab Smart Transport Forum to Support Reconstruction, Investment

 Sudan will host the Sudanese-Arab Smart Transport Forum in Khartoum from July 27-29, bringing together Arab regional organizations, government officials and investors to support the country's reconstruction and strengthen transport cooperation.

Sudan's Ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative to the Arab League, Imad El-Din Adawi, said the forum aims to advance infrastructure rehabilitation, promote smart transport systems and encourage public-private partnerships as part of Sudan's economic recovery.

The event, organized under the patronage of Sudan's Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, will feature participation from the Arab League, the Council of Arab Economic Unity, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and other regional institutions.

Arab Marketing Organization Chairman Hisham Awad said the forum will showcase investment opportunities, modern transport technologies and logistics projects, with the goal of positioning Sudan as a regional transport and investment hub.
