Sudan's foreign ministry summoned, on Saturday, its Ambassador to Djibouti and Acting Consul in Jeddah.
“Sudan's Ambassador to Djibouti Hamzah Baou, and Acting Consul in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Kingdom, Yasser Ahmed were summoned to the cabinet in Khartoum ,” Al-Sudani news reported.
The reason of summons has not yet been revealed.
The ministry also summoned its representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Omar Siddiq, over contacts with the representative of Israel, prior to Sudan's announcement of normalization with Israel.
Last Thursday, the United Kingdom (UK)’s Foreign Minister Dominic Raab arrived in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, to discuss bilateral relations and find solutions to the escalating border conflict with Ethiopia.
The British top diplomat is scheduled to meet with Gen. Abdel-Fattah Burhan, head of Sudan’s ruling sovereign council, Sudan’s prime minister, and acting Foreign Minister Omar Qamar al-Din during his visit to the African country.
