Sudan has expressed its condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait and Bahrain, describing them as an unacceptable violation of their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
In a statement issued today, Saturday, and carried by the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed Sudan's full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain.
Moreover, the Ministry pointed out that these attacks constitute a clear violation of the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, and pose a direct threat to the security and stability of both countries and the entire region.
Furthermore, it noted that such actions undermine regional and international efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and sparing the region from further escalation and conflict.
The Ministry also expressed its solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain in confronting anything that affects their security and sovereignty, emphasizing its categorical rejection of any hostile acts that target civilians or vital facilities, or threaten the security and stability of states.
It also called for respecting the sovereignty of nations, good neighborliness, and adherence to the provisions of international law.
In addition, the Ministry reiterated its support for all efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region, affirming the legitimate right of both countries to take all necessary measures to protect their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity in accordance with international law and the UN Charter.
