The Sudanese Minister of Information, Faisal Mohamed Saleh, announced yesterday, Tuesday, that his country is ready for all possibilities regarding the clashes on the border with Ethiopia.

Saleh stressed that "moving forward in the dialogue is linked to the demarcation of the border."

Saleh pointed out that "Along with the dialogue on the border clashes with Ethiopia, we can negotiate the possibility of Ethiopian farmers exploiting the Sudanese lands."

The Sudanese minister also stressed that "the army has taken back many Sudanese lands.”

The committee of the victims of the "Al-Fashqa" lands had refused any negotiation with the visiting Ethiopian delegation, and called on the political leadership “not to sit down with them, until the Sudanese army stabilizes at the known international border points between the two countries."

The head of the committee, Rashid Abdel Qader, pointed out that the committee "knows more than the policy of procrastination carried out by the Ethiopian side over the past years," against the background of the negotiations that began yesterday between Khartoum and Addis Ababa on the border file.

It is worth noting that the meetings of the Supreme Committee resumed yesterday the discussion on the outstanding issues regarding the border between Khartoum and Addis Ababa; the committee will conclude its work this evening, Wednesday.
