Sudanese Government reaffirmed its commitment to ending the war and halting the destruction of the state and the starvation of the Sudanese people.

It emphasized that this must be achieved by dismantling the sources, mechanisms, and means used to commit crimes in Sudan, while ensuring accountability for perpetrators and those who violate UN Security Council resolutions and international humanitarian law.

In a statement issued today, Sunday, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its gratitude to brotherly and friendly nations that support the security, unity, and territorial integrity of Sudan, as well as the cohesion of its institutions.

It called upon the international and regional communities to fulfill their responsibilities in confronting perpetrators of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Darfur, Kordofan, and other regions of Sudan.

The Ministry condemned, in the strongest possible terms, the international silence regarding the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and its self-styled "Founding Government" in the Darfur and Kordofan regions.

Furthermore, the statement added that the Government of Sudan will not accept any form of guardianship, nor will it permit those who are complicit in or silent about these crimes to be partners in any project aimed at ending the war in Sudan.
