A Sudanese army source said that the army is doubting the increasing trafficking of Ethiopian females across the military-tensioned borders.
The source suggested that those Ethiopian women spying on the Sudanese units deployed to the eastern parts of the country, especially in the Fashqah region.
The source warned of the negative fallouts of smuggling of women under the cover of trafficking according to an Ethiopian machination to spy on Sudan to thwart plans of the Sudanese Armed Forces to redeploy to their previous positions in the east.
The Sudanese military source reveals that females are the most portion of the Ethiopian army that entices its leadership to spy and gather intelligence through spreading young women pretending to the trafficking.
He indicated that the Ethiopian women cross the borderline at positions and military zones in the eastern areas meanwhile logic means that in the shadow of the current military troubles, trafficking should be stopped.
It is worth noting that the Police of Fighting Smuggling and Customs in Sudan have arrested two gangs of trafficking and smuggling arms and ammunition.
The gangsters were accompanied by 63 Ethiopian women from the Amhara, Comment, Oromo, and Komms ethnicities.
The suspects were arrested at the municipality of Ghlabat Al-Gharbyah as they boarding two trucks en route to Khartoum, the capital city of Sudan, owned by two Sudanese nationals.
The Sudanese army has started deploying in the Fashqah region since November 2020.
Ethiopian farmers and militants used to farm the area of Fashqah for 25 years without getting permission from the Sudanese government.
Over the last few years, the Sudanese army clashed with the Ethiopian army and militias in the region.
The two countries threaten to go to war many times on the backdrop of disputes over the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam on the Blue Nile.
