Egypt international and VfB Stuttgart forward Omar Marmoush has suffered an injury, the club announced on Sunday.
Relegation-threatened Stuttgart travelled to face rivals Hertha Berlin at the Olympiastadion in matchday 31 of the Bundesliga on Sunday.
However, it was Hertha who came out on top with a 2-0 victory to make matters more complicated for Stuttgart in the league standings.
Hertha took the early lead through Davie Selke before Ishak Belfodil sealed all three points just before the full-time whistle.
“Omar Marmoush is not in the squad for the away game in Berlin because of a muscular problem,” Stuttgart revealed in a statement on Twitter.
