Turkiye’s Disaster Management Authority (AFAD) announced that two people were killed and 140 injured in the earthquake that struck Malatya on Monday.
AFAD reported that the death toll from the earthquake that struck Malatya yesterday rose to 2, in addition to 140 injuries, 12 of whom are in serious condition.
A 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck the state of Malatya, with its epicenter in the city of Yeşilyurt, in the east of the country.
Earlier, the head of the Disaster and Emergency Management, Yunus Sezer, announced that one person was killed and 69 others were injured.
