Stoltenberg: NATO Seeks to Limit Conflict in Ukraine within Borders

Jens Stoltenberg, General-Secretary of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), said that US President Joe Biden will attend the exceptional summit of the alliance leaders on March 24 in Brussels, the capital city of Belgium.

He said over a joint statement with the Chief of the Pentagon ( US Department of Defense) ahead of a meeting of the defense minister of NATO, that he looks forward to welcoming President Biden among other leaders of the alliance next week.

Stoltenberg indicated ministers of the alliance will meet today, Wednesday and will discuss long-range defense planning to cope with Russian military operation in Ukraine.

The General-Secretary of NATO added that today's meeting is going to debate the direct consequences of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine to limit the conflict within the borders of Ukraine.
