Stock Exchange, Banks to Take Official Leave on Jan. 25

The Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) decided to suspend work and trading on Thursday on the occasion of January 25 revolution, and Police Day.

The stock exchange stated in a statement today that trading will resume on Sunday, Jan. 28.

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) also decided to suspend work in banks on Thursday, and will also resume work on Sunday morning.
