StartEgypt startup will organize courses and workshops on the "intellectual development" for female founders in Assiut on July 8.
The event will be held at El Watania Palace Hotel from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm (Cairo local time).
StartEgypt collaborated with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity on 25 June to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs in the governorate of Behaira.
The sessions and workshops aim to train young professionals on how to transform their ideas into socially influential companies.
During the session, representatives of StartEgypt will help Egyptian female entrepreneurs to gain the flexibility and knowledge to start their businesses. By the end of the session, participating entrepreneurs will come up with a prototype idea they can take forward.
“StartEgypt is a comprehensive program for entrepreneurs to help them move from the ideas stage to the incubation stage and speed up implementation,” said Hassan Mansi, the Director of the program.
He added that providing services to cities outside Cairo - particularly in the delta and Upper Egypt – is a permanent priority for his company.
"Private companies that help to find social solutions will play a pivotal role in the development of the Egyptian economy," said British Ambassador to Egypt Sir Jeffrey Adams. "The UK is proud to support such institutions as StartEgypt."
"This project has supported more than 10,000 entrepreneurs and we look forward to seeing it support thousands more next year."
