British Prime Minister (PM) Keir Starmer stated that the future of Greenland must remain with its people and the Danes, reaffirming London’s clear position that the island is an integral part of Danish territory.
Moreover, Starmer added that U.S. President Donald Trump’s move to impose tariffs on eight countries, including the United Kingdom, is "completely wrong," expressing his rejection of any attempts at economic pressure.
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized that Europeans would respond in a unified manner should the United States impose new customs duties.
He stressed that the European Union will not accept unilateral measures that harm its economic interests.
