A Sputnik correspondent reported that new explosions rocked the vicinity and inside the US Army base in the oil city of Al-Shaddadi in Al-Hasakah Governorate, eastern Syria, for the second time in a row.

The new missile attack brought the number of attacks that targeted US bases in eastern Syria yesterday to 6 attacks.

The correspondent in Al-Hasakah Governorate explained that successive explosions were heard in the vicinity and inside the US Army base (Jabsa Oil Fields Directorate) in the city of Al-Shaddadi, 50 km south of Al-Hasakah Governorate, resulting from being targeted by a missile salvo with several suicide drones, for the second time in a row.

The correspondent confirmed that the American forces sounded sirens, while soldiers were deployed and were asked to enter the shelters via loudspeakers, with American helicopter drones flying over the area.

The "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" claimed responsibility in successive statements for the five attacks on American bases in eastern Syria
