Within the framework of celebrating the International Day of the People with Special Abilities, the ministry of culture will organize various activities on this occasion.
Abdel Dayem: sponsoring the people with special abilities and developing their creative capabilities is a national duty.
On the occasion of the International Day of the People with Special Abilities, Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, will attend the artistic celebration organized by the Ministry of Culture represented by the Artistic house of the theater headed by director Ismail Mukhtar, in cooperation with the Egyptian Opera House headed by Dr. Magdy Saber.
The celebration will be held at 8.pm on Monday, 21 December, in Al - Gomhourya Theater under the title "We are the Joy". The event will be directed by Adel Hassan.
Abdel Dayem affirmed her keenness to support all the people of special needs, in addition to organizing the various activities and events that contribute in upgrading their energies in an attempt benefit from their talents.
Abdel Dayem added that their creative features enable them to prove themselves in all areas of creativity and innovation.
She continued that sponsoring children with special needs is a national duty and a noble message.
The ministry of culture aims to integrate them naturally into the public life.
Furthermore, she referred to the efforts exerted to discover and adopt the artistic and literary talents of them, saying that the ministry works to develop their talents and develop them properly in order to motivate them as one of the important branches of society.
The celebration will include the opening of an artistic exhibition for the children of especial abilities, as well as presenting a musical performance called "We are the Joy"; it will be recited by Sameh Mejahid, composed by Ahmed Al-Nasser, designed by Mohamed Mizo.
It will also include the presentation of a selection of artistic and lyrical performances and ballet shows, presented by members of "The Sun Theater troupe", affiliated to "The Artistic House of Theater".
Members of several artistic bodies will take part in the event. They include: The Egyptian Opera House, the Higher Institute of Ballet -affiliated to the Academy of Arts, Beni Suef troupe - affiliated to of the General organization of Cultural Palaces, Cultural Development Fund.
Furthermore, the celebration is going to include presentation of a documentary film directed by Yasser Atiya, showing the efforts of the Ministry of Culture to sponsor and adopt people with special abilities in all its sectors.
The celebration was designed by engineer Muhammad al-Gharabawi and lighting was supervised by Yasser Shaalan.
