Spanish Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albarez, will travel today to Jordan on a tour that includes a visit to Egypt, in which he seeks to discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip and ways to end the war.
Albaris is making his third visit to the Middle East after traveling in early February to several countries in the Persian Gulf to promote diplomatic solutions to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, according to the Spanish newspaper La Razón.
On this occasion, he will meet with the Foreign Ministers of Jordan and Egypt, Ayman Al-Safadi and Sameh Shoukry.
The newspaper said that the two countries are playing a major role in the ongoing negotiations to release the hostages in the Gaza Strip.
