Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez hosted European Council President Charles Michel in Madrid, Sunday, as part of their EU presidency term.
The two leaders discussed the priorities of the presidency including reindustrialization, the ecological transition, social and economic justice, and the strengthening of European unity.
Sánchez also received Michel at La Moncloa Palace, after a day of his trip to Ukraine.
He met Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenskyy and underscored the UE commitment to support Ukraine "for as long as it takes" and "regardless of the price to be paid."
Moreover, Spain is trying to achieve more developments in several files like legislative, climate, ecological, and economic files, along with immigration.
