Spain Records 1000 Infections with Coronavirus in  24 Hour

The Ministry of Health in Spain announced today that 1000 confirmed cases, of the infection with the Coronavirus, were recorded in the last 24 hours across the country.

The ministry released a statement saying that most of the infections were concentrated in Madrid, the capital city of Spain, and its surroundings.

Fernando Simon, head of Health Emergency Center, said that the infections climbed up to 8,744 cases by Monday and deaths rose to 297 cases.

The Spanish authorities have imposed curfew in all parts of the state for 15 days in an attempt to curb the spreading of the deadly virus.

The new strict regulations enforce people to stay at home to reduce communication between humans and prevent the virus from more spreading.

The Spanish government unveiled that Maria B. Gomez, spouse of the Premier, was infected with the Coronavirus.

The government information office issued a news release said that tests of some people in touch with PM proved positive, especially his wife.

The Premier and his wife were informed to toe the preventive measurements defines by the health authorities.

The new rules exempt people who go shopping for foodstuffs and medicaments, helping elderly persons or people with special needs.

Law in Spain over the couple weeks of curfew bans cars and other vehicles save using them in humanitarian purposed or supplying with fuel.

Citizens are permitted to go to work, health centers, and hospitals.

Services of public transport will be reduced by 50% and they may be diminished by the other 10% if is needed.

Spain comes second as the center of the Coronavirus after Italy.

On the other hand, Pedro Sanchez, Spain’s Prime Minister, declared the state of emergency across the country as of March 14 for 15 days to fight the Coronavirus.

He stressed that the crisis of Coronavirus needs exceptional decisions.

He affirmed that Armed Forces are ready to fight the fallouts of the Coronavirus.
