Spain Plans to Send Tanks, Armored Vehicles, Field Hospital to Ukraine

The Spanish Ministry of Defense announced today, Friday, that Madrid plans to supply Ukraine with 20 additional tracked armored vehicles, four Leopard tanks, and a field military hospital.

And Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles indicated that at the meeting of the defense contact group for Ukraine that took place yesterday, Thursday, at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, the state of material supplies and technical means with which Spain supports Ukraine continues, noting that a shipment of 20 tracked armored vehicles will arrive in Poland after 3 days, plus 40 trolleys already delivered.

Robles stated that Madrid intends to send four Leopard 2A4 tanks that were under repair to Ukraine, which defends a just cause.

The Spanish Minister of Defense also announced the transfer of a field hospital capable of providing emergency surgical care and treatment and can be deployed in 20 containers.
