South Korean President Yoon Sok-yul pledged to increase his country's humanitarian aids and military supplies to Ukraine after a summit with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev.
The South Korean president arrived in Kiev, Saturday, on a surprise visit.
Yoon Seok-yul announced that he had decided to implement "Ukrainian Peace Solidarity Initiative" with the aim of helping Ukraine's reconstruction, according to South Korea's Yonhap news agency.
In a joint statement, Yoon said that he discussed with Zelensky ways to boost cooperation between both countries, expressing his sincere condolences to the Ukrainian citizens and youth who sacrificed their lives to defend freedom against the illegal Russian invasion.
