On Monday, the South African government announced the withdrawal of all its diplomats from Israel amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The decision was confirmed by Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, a minister in the South African government, during a press conference, according to South African radio station "Jacaranda."

Ntshavheni emphasized that the South African government had decided to withdraw all its ambassadors from Israel for consultations.

She stated that the Cabinet expresses disappointment at the Israeli government's refusal to respect international law and United Nations resolutions without consequence.

She added humanitarian corridors remain closed due to ongoing Israeli government attacks, resulting in the death toll exceeding 9,500.

Ntshavheni also noted concerns about the behavior of Israel's ambassador to South Africa, Eliav Belotserkovski, and stated that instructions have been issued to the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation to take the necessary actions.

This move follows similar actions by other countries in response to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Chad announced on Sunday that it was recalling its charge d'affaires from Tel Aviv for consultations and expressed its condemnation of the killing of innocent civilians.

On the previous Saturday, Turkey and Honduras recalled their ambassadors from Israel for consultations.

Bahrain confirmed the departure of the Israeli ambassador and the recall of its ambassador from Tel Aviv, in addition to suspending economic relations with Israel.

Colombia also recalled its ambassador to Tel Aviv on Wednesday, and Chile severed all diplomatic relations with Israel, accusing the latter of committing crimes against humanity in its attacks on Gaza.

It has been a month since "Operation Aqsa Tempest," launched by the Palestinian movement Hamas, targeted Israeli settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of over 1,400 Israelis and the capture of more than 200.

Since then, Israel has been conducting an asymmetric warfare campaign, targeting Gaza by land, sea, and air. Schools, hospitals, and mosques have been struck, using hundreds of tons of heavy bombs and deadly weapons.

Israeli airstrikes have resulted in over 9,100 deaths and more than 23,000 injuries in Gaza, with additional clashes in the West Bank leading to the deaths of over 144 Palestinians and injuries to around 2,200 others.

The situation has raised alarm with the United Nations Secretary-General expressing concern over the attack on ambulances outside Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza yesterday.
