Sudanese Prime Minister (PM) Abdullah Hamdok will not announce the formation of a new government on Thursday as planned, Al-Arabiya news agency reported.
On Monday, Representatives of Sudan’s Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) handed Hamdok its list of candidates for the new cabinet.
The nominations were subject to very precise criteria related to political awareness, as well as academic qualification and scientific experience, according to a statement issued by the Sudanese Council of Ministers.
The statement stated that these nominations expressed to a very far extent the persity and plurality of Sudan.
It is worth mentioning that, the new cabinet is expected to include 26 ministries instead of 20, including seven portfolios to the SRF, which is pided into two alliances.
