Egypt has emphasized the necessity of Israel's withdrawal from the Palestinian side of the crossing to reopen it, a high-level informed source told Al-Qahera News TV channel.
It is worth mentioning that, on May 7, Israel initiated an attack on Rafah, seizing control of the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt for the first time since withdrawing its soldiers and settlers from the strip in 2005.
