Somaya El Khashab Unmasked as Scheherazade on “The Masked Singer”

The eighth episode of “The Masked Singer: Who are you”, screened Wednesday on “mbc1” TV channel, featuring Egyptian actress, Somaya El Khashab as the face behind the “Scheherazade” mask.

In each episode, the show panelists Qusai Khouli, Cyrine Abdelnour, Hassan El-Raddad, and Mouhnned al-Hamdi, try to figure out who is the artist hidden under the mask.

Al-Hamdi succeeded in discovering the identity of "Scheherazade", who presented a dazzling show.

Arab stars from different generations and fields are set to participate in the show. The show audience participates from home the team of investigators in revealing the identity of the stars, by voting and excluding one of the participants to reveal his identity, at the end of each episode of the show, which is hosted by Annabella Hilal.

The idea of the show revolves around guessing the name of the star disguised, this task is left for the panelists who are given various clues alluding to the celebrities’ identities to guess who they could be after each performs. The audience can also participate from their homes.

It is based on the international music game show franchise of the same name, which originated from the South Korean program, “King of Mask Singer”.
