President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, met on Tuesday in Istanbul.
During the meeting, they discuss strengthening bilateral relations and elevating cooperation across various sectors.
Both leaders convened at the Turkish Presidential Office in Istanbul to deliberate on vital diplomatic and strategic files, according to the Somali National News Agency (SONA).
Moreover, the discussions aimed at reinforcing joint efforts to safeguard the independence and territorial integrity of Somalia.
Furthermore, the two presidents are set to hold a joint press conference to address regional developments, Somali-Turkish relations, and cooperation in development and natural resource investment.
