Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced that four members from the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) were killed Thursday, after being hit by an airstrike, while trying to enter the Syrian territories near Abu Kamal city.
“A drone targeted a vehicle belonging to the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces while trying to enter the Syrian territories, from one of the unofficial border crossings with Iraq near Abu Kamal city, eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, killing 4 members, and injuring others who were in the vehicle,” SOHR said.
SOHR has also announced that a refrigerated truck, which was carrying goods, has exploded at the Nasib border crossing with Jordan, in the southern province of Daraa.
Dense smoke was seen rising from the crossing; however, no casualties were reported.
During the day, SOHR has revealed that one person was killed and three others were wounded, as a result of the explosion of an explosive device targeting a car, which was carrying the victims in a small village in the Quneitra Governorate, southern Syria.
