Snapchat is testing a paid subscription called Snapchat Plus, which will give users early access to new features, as well as other abilities.
In a statement to The Verge, Snap spokesperson Liz Markman said: "We’re doing early internal testing of Snapchat Plus, a new subscription service for Snapchatters. We’re excited about the potential to share exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features with our subscribers, and learn more about how we can best serve our community."

Moreover, the app is testing other features for Snapchat Plus, including the ability to pin one of your friends as your “#1 BFF”, change the icon, and see who rewatches your stories.
The price for the subscription is currently listed as 4.59 Euros a month and 45.99 Euros a year, according to screenshots and information posted to Twitter by app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi.
Last April, thousands of Snapchat users reported access issues while trying to use the app. Only Android users reported that the app keeps crashing, complaining that it is not working properly.
Some people are also receiving an error message when trying to open Snapchat, as the app glitches and shuts itself down again rather than opening as normal.
Snapchat has previously revealed its plan to roll out a feature that will allow you to change your username.
The new feature will allow users to change their usernames easily without creating a new account. They will still have access to old friends lists, Snap scores, Snap codes, and memories. However, you will only get one chance to change your username per year.
