Snapchat Releases New Filter to Show Users Their Metaverse Look

Snapchat rolled out the Avatar lens AR filter to show users what their digital version would look like in the metaverse.

In order to use the lens, users will have to scan the QR code for this filter available on Snapchat's website.

This new feature comes amid talk about the metaverse booming as some people can't help but wonder what they would look like in this digital space.

In November, Snapchat launched a new Birthdays Mini feature in many countries to allow users keep a track of all their friends’ birthdays easily.

The new feature will show users a list of upcoming and recent birthdays, and they also can receive personal greetings and birthday messages from their friends on the platform.

Interestingly, it will display birthdays organized by zodiac signs in a separate tab. Along with tracking friends’ birthdays, a user can even countdown to their own birthday.
