Slovenia’s Consulate Building in Kharkiv Destroyed in Russian Attack (Video)

The Slovenian consulate in Ukraine was destroyed in a military attack on the city of Kharkiv, the foreign ministry announced on Tuesday.

On Twitter, the ministry condemned the Russian rocket attack on the consulate building amid aggression against Ukraine.

No employees were injured in the attack, Slovenia's STA news agency cited the ministry as saying.

Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, has been the target of some of the worst aerial attacks since Ukraine was invaded by Russian forces on Feb. 24.

At least 10 people were killed and 35 wounded in rocket strikes by Russian forces in the center of the city, according to Interior Ministry adviser Anton Herashchenko's statement on Tuesday.

In the same vein, Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that Russian forces burned the Museum of Local History in the town of Ivankiv, Kyiv region.

The museum, held within its collection of 25 works by the Ukrainian folk artist Maria Prymachenko, has reportedly been destroyed in the Russian invasion. The Museum of Local History was established in 1981.
