The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization received Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon and her delegation on the sidelines of her visit to Egypt.
The Slovenian official was received by Dr. Ahmed Ghoniem , the executive manager of the museum, and Fayrouz Fekry, the executive manager of the moderating committee of the museum, who briefed them about the museum and its cultural role.
Ghoniem gifted the Minister a book about the Royal mummies which are among the unique exhibits of the museum.
The Slovenian Minister inspected the museum's various halls, like Egyptian textile, the Royal Mummies, and the Central Hall.
In addition, she listened to a brief about the history of the museum and its exhibits.
Fajon expressed her pleasure after visiting the museum, asserting that it reflects Egypt's cultural and civilized position through the special displaying scenario that depicts Egyptian life development throughout history.
Finally, she expressed her gratitude for the special welcoming by the museum staff.
