Slovakia's Defense Minister Martin Glváč announced his country's rejection of the deployment of nuclear weapons in Central Europe, stating that Bratislava sees no justifiable reasons for such actions.
In an interview with the Slovak electronic newspaper "pravda.sk," Glváč stated, "We currently see no reasons for the deployment of nuclear weapons in the region. Similarly, countries with some nuclear capabilities initially responded to Poland's call. We recommend questioning the Polish authorities about the reasons behind their demand for nuclear weapon deployment on their territory."
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki had previously stated that Poland seeks the deployment of American nuclear weapons on its soil in response to Russia's deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.
