S.Korean President to Visit US on April 26

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol is scheduled to visit the US, on April 26.

During his visit, South Koreab President will hold summit with his US counterpart Joe Biden in Washington.

In a statment, South Korean Ministry of Foreign affairs said that both sides are set to discuss ways to enhance Washington's expanded deterrence against the growing nuclear and missile threats from North Korea, and cooperation in other areas, including advanced technologies and economic security, as well as the exchange of visits between the two peoples, based on the results of the previous summit held in Seoul last year.

In addition, the ministry stressed that this state visit will serve as an opportunity to realize the vision of "a pragmatic South Korean-US alliance," which "protects the lives and safety of the people of the two countries," and upholds their common core values.
