Six Years Milestone in Egypt's History, Op-ed

Six years have passed since president Abdel Fattah El Sisi took office… Six years full of achievements, race, and efforts day and night…2200 days of courage, heroism, confronting terrorism and keeping our nation strong.

The history will remember this man who has dedicated his life to Egypt and its people and stood steadfast in front of the most powerful terrorist organizations.

Sisi has bet on the great Egyptian people and their ability to overcome any crises and challenges at various critical times…Racing against time to build Egypt's future is the secret of the president's success in achieving the miracle.

What has been achieved in a few years is equivalent to what was accomplished in 100 years…Egypt must catch up with progress.. Strong Egypt, with its civilization and history, will rank among the developed countries in 2030, according to international institutions' reports.

Egypt, which is long overdue, races against time with its resources, as well as its people's awareness, and their love for their homeland.

"I've won my honest bet. If it were not for the will of the Egyptians, we would have never passed these challenges and the accomplishment would have never been achieved," the president said.

President Sisi was able to change the painful reality of the pre-June 30 revolution from chaos to security, from darkness to light, from terror to reassurance, from the deterioration, extremism, skepticism, pision, and paralysis that struck all aspects of life, to unity, progress, and key achievements; he managed to restore stability in Egypt, and save 100 million Egyptians from a diabolical scheme and bring them to safety.

During the last days, Egypt has been subjected to thousands of rumors… Egypt does not only confront emerging coronavirus crisis, sweeping across the whole world, but also other fierce viruses, which seek through allegations and lies to spread chaos and destruction.

Amid the ambitions of the Ottoman tyrant in the Mediterranean gas, and his role in promoting terrorism on the Libyan borders as well as Qatar's sponsorship of terrorism in Sinai, the Egyptian people stand steadfast, aware of the dangers and plots being hatched against Egypt.

The Egyptian people know its enemies well and realize that time will not turn back and that Egypt is on the right path. They have great trust in their loyal patriotic leader, who took office in a critical stage and has been able to win the hearts of Egyptians.

The Egyptians' great love for their country and their cohesion and unity at the moment of danger will forever be the key behind the stability of Egypt's and its institutions. a matter which will never be realized by the evil forces, as they have nothing to do with the meaning of a homeland, and borders; they only believe in their extremist groups' thoughts.

Egypt has witnessed a comprehensive renaissance and a real miracle under the leadership of a president who put forward the 2030 vision, implementing thousands of giant national projects, the largest roads' network, pumping huge investments in Sinai, digging the new Suez Canal as well as establishing the Suez Canal economic zone.

In addition to the launch of the Egyptian satellite, the construction of the Grand Egyptian Museum, more than 22 new industrial cities, and 14 new cities on the latest technology systems, including the new administrative capital that exceeds the area of Singapore and Paris.

Also, the establishment of the largest mosque and church in the Middle East, the tallest tower in Africa, the largest city of knowledge and technology, the return of tourism, entering the era of the fourth industrial revolution, as well as achieving a great revival in energy and electricity projects, the declaration of Egypt free of slums, the treatment of 2 million patients with Hepatitis C, the cultivation of 4 million acres and thousands of greenhouses, and turning Egypt into a regional gas hub.

Thanks to his sincere efforts, President Sisi was able to make Egypt the world's fastest-growing economy and to restore Egypt's position internationally and make the voice of Africa heard to express the hopes and dreams of 1.3 billion Africans in a better life.

Moreover, the president was keen to equip the Egyptian army with the latest weapons of confrontation and deterrence.

The right of the state needs the power to protect it. We are a country of peace, however, if war is imposed on us, we must be more fierce towards it instead of seeking peace.

Peace be upon the souls of our righteous martyrs, peace for everyone who committed to its borders, swore to defend it, and sacrifice his blood for the redemption of its soil.

I am sure that we will soon overcome the crisis of Corona, which hit the world economy, and that the plight will turn into a grant.

Despite the increasing number of infections during the past days, I am proud of the president’s positions, as he sent medical aids to China, Italy, and America; this gesture affirms the greatness of Egypt and its leader, who upholds the spirit of humanity and love in the whole world.

I am also proud of the president’s messages at the height of the crisis to reassure the Egyptians, his efforts to return home all stranded Egyptians abroad, as well as his support for the low-income people and irregular employment.

Corona’s confrontation is a national epic, led by the president with the thoughts and feelings of the father who protects and fears for his sons' lives.

“We will not look at material losses .. in front of the lives and health of the Egyptian people.” Critical statements were pronounced by President Sisi…We will continue to build on achievements despite the crisis."
