President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call, on Wednesday, from President Kais Saied of the sisterly Republic of Tunisia.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that the Tunisian President extended his congratulations to President El-Sisi on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha.
He prayed to Almighty God to bring this holy occasion back to both brotherly countries, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations, with blessings, goodness, and prosperity, wishing Egypt and its people continued security, stability, progress, and prosperity.
The official spokesperson added that President El-Sisi expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to his Tunisian counterpart for this gracious brotherly gesture, praying to Almighty God to bestow peace and prosperity upon both the Egyptian and Tunisian nations, and all Arab and Islamic peoples.
The call also touched upon the overall distinguished bilateral relations between Egypt and Tunisia, and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples and strengthen joint Arab cooperation.
