Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from U.S. President Donald Trump this evening, discussing strategic relations and key regional and international issues.
According to Egypt’s presidential spokesperson, President El-Sisi congratulated Trump once again on securing a second term as U.S. President, emphasizing the trust and recognition he enjoys from the American people.
During the call, President El-Sisi extended an invitation for Trump to visit Egypt at the earliest opportunity to further strengthen strategic ties and discuss ongoing Middle East crises. He also invited Trump to attend the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum. In response, Trump extended an open invitation for El-Sisi to visit Washington and meet at the White House.
