President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today, at Al-Ittihadiya Palace, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of Singapore, as part of his official visit to Egypt aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
President Sisi affirmed Egypt’s openness to providing all possible support to expand Singaporean investments and increase trade exchange between both nations.
This came during President El-Sisi’s remarks at the joint press conference held with President Shanmugaratnam at Al-Ittihadiya Palace.
Moreover, Sisi highlighted Egypt’s welcome of establishing a joint economic partnership with Singapore in the Middle East and Africa, stressing that Egypt serves as a vital trade gateway in the region.
He also extended an invitation to all public and private institutions and companies in Singapore to inject more investments into the Egyptian market.
President Sisi further expressed his hope that the Egyptian-Singaporean Business Forum, held in Cairo, will take concrete steps forward to enhance the volume of trade exchange.
