In this regard, the two leaders agreed on the need to intensify consultation and close coordination between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in the coming period to confirm the Arab and Islamic vision on the Palestinian issue, especially in light of the results of the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit, which focus on achieving a comprehensive and just settlement of the issue on the basis of the two-state solution, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in accordance with the references of international legitimacy.
