President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on Friday a phone call from Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesman for the Presidency stated that the call dealt with discussing ways to strengthen the relations that bring the two countries together at various levels.
The official spokesman added that the phone call also affirmed keenness to advance joint cooperation at the bilateral level in various aspects, especially in the fields of investment, trade exchange, and cooperation in the field of energy and electrical interconnection.
In addition, both leaders agreed to continuing intensive political consultations on issues of common concern, especially with regard to developments in the situation in the eastern Mediterranean region.
