President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Wednesday, Marzouq Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, and John Christmann, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the US company Apache, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
First, Sisi welcomed the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly asking him to convey his greetings to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait. He stressed on the special characteristics of Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations, and Egypt's keenness to continue developing cooperation between the two countries in all fields and at various official and popular levels.
On his part, Al-Ghanim conveyed to the Egyptian President the greetings of Sheikh Nawaf, stressing his country’s pride in the close historical relations, and appreciating its role in maintaining the security and stability of Kuwait and the entire Arab world.
Secondly, Sisi received the Chairmann of the Board of Directors of the US company Apache specialized in the field of petroleum research and exploration, in the presence of Eng. Tarek El-Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and a number of senior officials of the company.
Christmann hailed the wise leadership and ambitious vision of Sisi, which led Egypt to become a successful development and economic model, not only at the regional level but also globally, praising the distinguished relations between Egypt and the United States in various fields.
