President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Anita Demetriou, Cypriot Parliament Speaker, in the presence of Dr. Hanafi Gebali, Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament, and the Cypriot Ambassador to Cairo.
At the outset of the meeting, President Sisi reaffirmed the depth and strength of relations between Egypt and Cyprus, emphasizing Egypt’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral cooperation in key areas of mutual interest.
He highlighted the significance of energy, trade, and investment cooperation, as well as the effective political coordination between the two nations.
Additionally, Sisi underscored the importance of parliamentary collaboration as a key pillar for strengthening bilateral ties and fostering mutual understanding between the two countries and their people.
