President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today, Wednesday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, along with his accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt; Engineer Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transportation; Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation; Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development; Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Egyptian Expatriates; and Mr. Hassan Rashad, Chief of General Intelligence.
The Presidential Spokesperson stated that the Qatari Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, to President El-Sisi.
He also emphasized Qatar's commitment to enhancing and maintaining cooperation and coordination between the two nations, highlighting the Qatari government’s keen interest in strengthening bilateral relations across various fields, particularly in political, economic, and investment sectors.
Sisi, in turn, expressed his appreciation for the Emir of Qatar and affirmed the shared desire to elevate relations between the two countries to meet the aspirations of their peoples and address the regional and international challenges they face.
