President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a meeting, Wednesday, with Jordanian Crown Prince (CP) Hussein bin Abdullah, on the sidelines of the 31st Arab Summit in Algeria, according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
At the outset of the meeting, the president asked to convey his greetings to his brother, King Abdullah bin Al Hussein, praising the strength of the historical relations between Egypt and Jordan, and the brotherly ties, affection, and common destiny that unite the two countries and peoples.
He also stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two countries, especially in light of their consensus of visions and interests, and the great challenges facing the region nowadays.
On his part, Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah conveyed to Sisi the greetings of his brother, the Jordanian King, expressing his country’s appreciation for Egypt’s leadership and people, and Jordan’s welcome to the existing level of joint coordination with Egypt to deal with the various crises experienced by the countries of the region, which threaten the security and stability of the Arab peoples.
In this regard, the Jordanian CP praised Egypt's pivotal role in serving Arab causes and its efforts to strengthen Arab solidarity.
