Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has expressed his deep appreciation for the sacrifices and contributions of the Egyptian Armed Forces in safeguarding the country's national security and supporting its development agenda.
During a meeting with senior military officials, including Defence Minister Ashraf Salem Zahir, the president reviewed a number of issues related to the activities and responsibilities of the armed forces, as well as their role in implementing national development projects across the country.
According to the Egyptian presidency, discussions focused on the military’s contribution to major national projects in coordination with state ministries and institutions, aimed at improving public services, advancing development plans, and supporting Egypt’s long-term vision for sustainable growth.
President El-Sisi stressed the importance of accelerating the implementation of development projects nationwide while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and technical quality. He said these efforts are essential to improving living conditions and ensuring a decent standard of life for citizens throughout Egypt.
The president also praised the efforts of Egyptian state institutions in addressing challenges arising from successive regional and international crises, highlighting the importance of national cooperation in maintaining stability and supporting development.
El-Sisi reaffirmed his pride in the dedication of members of the armed forces and their commitment to carrying out all assigned duties and responsibilities to protect the nation and preserve its security.
