Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is participating in the closing session of the Global Finance Charter Summit in France today, as reported by Extra News.
The closing session will review the broad themes and discussions that took place throughout the summit.
President Macron stressed France's keenness to maintain intensive coordination and consultation with Egypt, one of its most significant regional partners. He affirmed Egypt's role in establishing the pillars of stability in the Middle East, the Mediterranean region, and the entire African continent. In addition to this, he acknowledged Egypt's efforts in combating terrorism, extremist thought, and illegal immigration.
President Macron welcomed President El-Sisi's visit to Paris and expressed his country's appreciation for Egypt. He praised the close ties between Egypt and France and the depth of the friendship that binds the two countries, particularly in light of the significant momentum being witnessed in bilateral relations across various fields, most notably economic and trade relations.
