Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will open on Sunday the fourth phase of Cairo's third Metro line, according to Presidency spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi.
Moreover, Sisi will also lay the foundation stone for the Adli Mansour interchange station, which is considered one of the major central stations that will connect the New Administrative Capital (NAC) with all the country's cities and governorates.
The construction work of the fourth phase began in July 2015 and is set to be completed in 2022.
This project will serve 3 million commuters daily, according to the National Authority for Tunnels ' figures.
The inauguration ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Former interim President Adli Mansour, Transportation Minister Kamel Al-Wazer, in addition to a number of senior officials.
