President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made a phone call to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, during which he expressed his heartfelt condolences for the victims of the shooting incident in the Al-Wadi Al-Kabir area in Muscat.
The President prayed for the souls of the victims to be blessed with mercy, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
He also reiterated Egypt's condemnation of this heinous terrorist act and its full solidarity with the Sultanate of Oman in this situation and in the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and extremism.
In response, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq appreciated Egypt's supportive stance towards Oman, emphasizing the strength and depth of the historic fraternal relations that unite Egypt and Oman and their brotherly peoples.
Moreover, he affirmed his country's keenness to continue strengthening the distinguished bilateral cooperation between the two states in various fields.
