President Abdel Fattah El Sisi Tuesday met with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of State for Military Production Eng. Mohamed Ahmed Morsy, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
Rady said that the meeting discussed the strategy for developing military production factories and companies.
Sisi directed that efforts should be continued to develop the Ministry of Military Production’s affiliated companies and factories, especially in light of the Ministry’s important role in boosting the national economy, advancing national industry, and implementing various national projects nationwide.
This is in addition to the Ministry’s primary role in the production and development of military equipment.
The president also directed that maximum openness should be showed and cooperation strengthened with major international specialized companies with long-standing relevant experience.
“This is done with a view to acquiring and localizing cutting-edge technology in Egypt and opening new horizons in the industry based on the ability to innovate and develop,” added Rady.
