Sisi Meets Engineering Authority, Interior Minister

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi issued directives to officials to proceed with the construction work in the administrative capital and new cities in accordance with the planned schedule.

This came during the president's meeting with chairman of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Ihab el Far and supervisors of the engineering firms.

Sisi urged the Engineering Authority to adopt the latest international standards and most advanced technologies while implementing the projects.

Bassam Rady, Presidential Spokesman said that the meeting dealt with reviewing the executive position of several national projects being set up in various parts of the country as well as roads and axes projects within the framework of the national road network.

Rady added that the meeting also followed construction works at the government district of the Administrative Capital in addition to the upgrading of axes and roads in the districts of Heliopolis and Nasr City.

In the meantime, the President also held a meeting with Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq.
