Sisi Meets Delegation of Major American Jewish Organizations

​President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received, on Tuesday, a delegation from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. 

The delegation included Harriet P. Schleifer, Chair of the Conference, and William Daroff, the Chief Executive Officer, in the presence of Major General Hassan Rashad, Head of the General Intelligence Service.

​Mohamed El-Shenawy, Official Presidential Spokesperson, stated that during the meeting, the President emphasized Egypt's appreciation for the strategic relations binding Egypt and the United States. 

He highlighted the centrality of the ongoing close coordination and consultation between the two countries to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East and to confront common challenges, particularly terrorism and extremist ideology. 

Sisi also stressed the need to continue advancing bilateral relations across various political, economic, and investment fields.

​The Official Spokesperson noted that the delegation members expressed their deep appreciation for visiting Egypt and meeting with the President. 

They also praised the strategic bilateral relations between Egypt and the United States, expressing their appreciation for Egypt's continuous efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East.

​The Spokesperson added that the meeting touched upon the overall regional situation. 

The delegation members listened to the President's vision on ways to achieve regional stability. 

In this regard, he addressed Egyptian efforts aimed at de-escalating the current tensions and supporting the ongoing negotiation track between the United States and Iran to end the current crisis and avoid its economic and political repercussions on both the region and the world.

​Furthermore, the Official Spokesperson explained that the President underscored the importance of a comprehensive and just settlement of the Palestinian cause, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and based on the two-state solution. 

Moreover, he emphasized that this remains the only path to ensuring lasting peace and stability in the Middle East, given that the Palestinian cause is the central issue of the Arab world.
