Sisi, Madbouly Discuss Cabinet Reshuffle to Tackle National Priorities

​President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Prime Minister (PM) Dr. Mostafa Madbouly this morning to discuss a reshuffle of the current government.

​Mohamed El-Shennawy, Official Peesidential Spokesperson stated that Sisi consulted with PM regarding adjustments to the cabinet's formation.

The Spokesperson noted that the President emphasized the necessity for the government, in its new formation, to work toward achieving specific objectives across several key pillars: national security and foreign policy, economic development, production and energy, food security, and social welfare and human development. 

Furthermore, the President issued new directives aligned with the strategic goals of this cabinet reshuffle.

Expectations for this limited reshuffle suggest several key appointments:

Reports indicate that Raafat Hindy is expected to take over the Ministry of Communications, Dr. Gehan Zaki for Culture, and Dr. Mohamed Farid for Investment. 

The anticipated list also includes Randa Al-Minshawi for Housing, Ahmed Rustum for Planning, Khaled Hashem for Industry, and Major General Mohamed Abdel Fattah for Military Production.

Additionally, the reshuffle is expected to see Hassan El-Raddad appointed as Minister of Labor, Dr. Abdel Aziz Qonsua as Minister of Higher Education, Gohar Nabil as Minister of Youth and Sports, and Diaa Rashwan as Minister of Information.
