President Abdel Fattah El Sisi thanked his French counterpart on Monday for a “warm reception” during his three-day visit to France.
“I thank French President Emmanuel Macron for the warm reception and hospitality during my visit to France,” Sisi tweeted following a joint press conference at the Elysee.
He said that “The relations between our two countries are characterized by persity in various fields, and today we discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations at various levels.”
The Egyptian president held two-hour talks with Macron and discussed several issues of common interests, regional files, and bilateral relations.
“We exchanged visions about our common issues, and the need to intensify meaningful consultations in facing challenges to consolidate peace and stability in the region,” Sisi added.
